These Terms govern your use of CampHQ ("the app"), operated by SKATTIC LLC ("we", "us"). CampHQ is a camp-management tool for sleepaway camps, church camps, retreats, and similar programs: building rosters, assigning cabins, buses, teams and small groups, publishing schedules and packing lists, running registration, and giving families a place to follow along. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be an adult (or otherwise legally able to enter this agreement) to create an organizer account. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Organizers enter information about the people at a camp, including campers who are minors. You represent that you have the authority and any consent required (including any verifiable parental consent required under laws such as COPPA, and any authorization required under FERPA where your organization is a school or acts for one) to enter that information, and that you will use it only to run your camp. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for handling health, medication, emergency-contact, and other sensitive details appropriately, which includes sharing them only with authorized camp staff. For camp information, you are the data controller and we act as your service provider, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Do not use the app to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload harmful, unlawful, or unauthorized content, attempt to reach data that is not yours, or disrupt the service. Content that organizers and their staff upload (photos, documents, logos, notes) must be appropriate for a camp setting. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. If you see something objectionable in a camp you have access to, remove it if you are able to, and report it to us at privacy@camphq.app; we will review reports and may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
There are two separate kinds of money in CampHQ, and they work differently.
Our fee. Publishing a camp may require a payment to SKATTIC LLC. The price and what it includes are shown before you pay. These purchases are made through the web, not through Apple in-app purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we expressly say otherwise.
Your registration money. If you collect registration or camp fees from families through CampHQ, that money is charged directly on your own Stripe connected account. You are the merchant of record for those payments. Stripe handles identity verification and payouts to you, and refunds, chargebacks, disputes, tax, and any promises you make to families are your responsibility. SKATTIC LLC does not hold, custody, or disburse your registration funds. We collect a platform fee on those transactions, disclosed before you enable payments, and your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's own agreements.
Neither we nor Stripe stores your families' full card numbers in CampHQ; card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout.
You keep ownership of the content and data you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display it in order to provide the service to you and to the people you authorize. The app itself, including its software, design, and branding, remains the property of SKATTIC LLC.
We work to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we make no uptime commitment. We may update, change, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKATTIC LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits.
CampHQ is an organizational tool. We are not responsible for what happens at your camp. Supervision of campers, health and medical decisions, transportation, safety, staffing, background checks, and every other aspect of actually running the camp remain the responsibility of the organizing camp, church, school, or group.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from inside the app (Account, then Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes the camps and records you own; it is a hard delete with no recovery. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms.
PLACEHOLDER, FOR ATTORNEY COMPLETION. Governing law and venue, the dispute-resolution process (including whether arbitration and a class-action waiver apply), and the monetary cap on our liability are deliberately left blank in this draft. We are not lawyers and will not invent them. An attorney must draft this section before these Terms are treated as final.
